We had day 1 of our bus tour today, trekking across Ireland with a bus driver/tour guide. Departing early in the morning is still frowned upon but we were able to sleep on the bus throughout the day, which thankfully I'm finally able to do when I want to. During our stops we saw the Cliffs of Moher and another set of cliffs that I can't remember the name of. However, the cliffs of insanity from Princess Bride were actually located at Moher so I was very excited about that. The country side in Ireland is just as amazing as you'd expect. The only problem is the roads are extremely narrow, everyone drives too fast, and it's the wrong side of the road. So now I am taking applications for a driver to live in Ireland after college, along with a dog, if you know anyone that is interested please let me know! After a long day on the bus, motion sickness starting to set in, we took a ferry ride to another part of Ireland to end our night in Killarney. The hotel is very nice again which you appreciate more after seeing what some of these towns in general look like. Tomorrow we have some more touring and then we're back in Dublin tomorrow night before venturing out again on Sunday. Time for bed, have a good evening!
